The art of discourse today

Go to your corner now

Arm yourself

With the sharpest arrows

Make them shrill and churlish

Vitriol-tipped

Double strung bows

To deepen the wound

Now find your friends

Grow the army

The confidence of confederation

Let no light in

That does not shine well on us

Then the whistle blows

For it is always blowing

And we begin

To deride and denigrate

To paint them stupid

They who are shrill and churlish

With their vitriol-tipped arrows
